Original Review:

We bought our trailer and drove it straight here to prep for full time travel. After calling 9 other parks in the Dallas area, which were full, this one said, “we’re never full!” I guess that could be a bad thing if it were so terrible no one ever stayed, but that’s not the case. This place is just HUGE, with over 200 sites; covered, shaded, or unshaded with pull-throughs and back-ins.

We stayed for a month ($325 + Electric @ $0.14/kWh). We had to put down a $150 deposit for elec. and we used $136 worth in July with 1 air conditioner. Our site was decent with a little bit of shade.

There is an on-site RV repair guy, which I was thankful for when I couldn’t figure out a problem I was having with my water pump. <$70 for 1 hour labor and $11 part, which I thought was fair, and I learned something new about my water pump (priceless)!

There is a mix of people who live there full time, stay there a while, and camp overnight, but everyone was friendly, including the staff. Pool was nice. Breakfast is served for tips. And, there is a dog area with a wash station, but I used the massive field to let my dog run around (responsibly, of course).

All-in-all, it was a good first location, but now we’re headed out for full time travel!
