Double Adobe Campground & Shotgun Sports

Very friendly park, lots of snowbirds in the winter, close to Bisbee.

So, this is an RV park…and a shotgun range. No biggie, unless you really don’t like guns and hearing them go off (in the distance) throughout the day. If you like sport shooting, this is your place! We don’t shoot but explored the grounds and the range is very nice. It looks like they have tournaments there.

The park is nice, and the friendly owners live on-site and take very good care of the park. Our first attempt to park in a space failed because our rig was a little too big. Those were the spaces against the fence. Most of the other spaces are pull-thru and have more room. The spaces are close, but we found a spot with no one on either side, so it wasn’t an issue during our stay. We had 2 bars Verizon LTE, the Wifi worked, our price was for the week, and we had 30 amp FHU. Actual date of stay April 2018.

They have a stable and our dog met some horses, but I don’t have any other info on pricing. Restrooms are on site, but we did not use them. Laundry is available with several machines. They have a DVD ($1/night) and book library available, as well as a beautiful indoor garden to sit and read next to.

Since a lot of people were leaving for the summer, our first night there was a fish fry and pot luck, which was awesome! Everyone was friendly, and we had a good time.
