Forest Rd 525 (Loy Butte), Sedona, AZ

3LTE, clean, great view, traffic, RV dealer w/ free dump

Awesome free National Forest camping if you don’t mind OHVs (which we don’t).

We didn’t have any problems here. We stayed in two different sites along 525 and there are plenty more, even down 525c. Our 35’ fifth wheel had no problem, but the road is a little rough and rocky, so be careful. Sites with a great view don’t start until about 7 miles back. Our first site was about 6 miles in, which is why we moved later.

If you don’t like OHVs, then you probably shouldn’t come here. These are OHV trails, so expect to see and hear OHVs. It is fairly quiet at night, but there is still some traffic. It seems a few locals some here at night to sleep in their cars. No one bothered us.

We had 3 bars Verizon LTE and both areas we stayed in were clean.

Galpin RV dealership in Cottonwood has a FREE dump station.
