Tonopah, NV BLM

October 2018, Tonopah, NV. Good BLM stop for a night or four. Wide dirt road. Quiet, close to Hwy, good Verizon.

This is a wide dirt road just off the main road. The road does become narrower, so be cautious not to travel past the coordinates with a Lg rig. No trees, open for solar, fairly level after the first small grade, and 4 bars Verizon LTE.

Even though it is close the highway, it is fairly quiet. The town has a few amenities including a tire shop that carries Goodyear Endurance tires. My stock tires had just worn their tread, so I was happy this little shop had what I wanted to replace them with!

We did see a convoy of military tanks on trailers in the morning, but it’s Nevada, so you should expect that.
